Less is More!

Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I took my first bite of the last bowl of pasta and threw it out. I've been trying to be super-creative so as not to get bored with a very limited diet, but... yuck. We'll write that one off as just a BAD IDEA. I replaced it with a bowl of plain pasta, no butter or anything, with just a sprinkling of pasta seasoning. Yum. WOW, why didn't anyone tell me how GOOD rice pasta is? I put off eating it even though I bought it last week because I was afraid of it.

In other news, I am officially out of food save for a bag of shrimp and some random things that can't be eating on their own, like a tub of cream cheese and a bag of shredded cheese.

Oh, can anyone tell me why I can't have xantham gum? It is literally in every single one of my salad dressings and it took me forever to find those salad dressings! I read the wikipedia entry on it and I couldn't find anything mentioning any of my allergens, but I had been warned to stay away from it. If I can't get an answer I might keep eating it.

Oh and I have had a hard lump in my throat since I woke up this morning over 12 hours ago. I assume it is something I ate, isn't that an allergy symptom? Tighening esophagus or something? I feel fine otherwise, but I had a bad bellyache last night. Did I eat anything bad? Literally EVERYTHING I hate eaten or drank is posted here.

Lastly I want to thank Anonymous who took the time to leave me long, time consuming, and very helpful comments. I really appreciate your time, stranger!

Edit: Yummy Salad and Pasta made of FAIL

Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Salad is mixed greens and spinach topped with a turkey breast seasoned with garlic, sea salt, and ground pepper. The salad also has some pasta/salad seasoning on it. It is organic, salt-free, msg-free, etc etc etc. There is also organic shredded cheese and zesty Italian dressing with no-no xantham gum in it - let's see if it kills me.

The salad (edit: made of FAIL) is rice pasta with artichoke antipasta.

Luckily they are only 45 calories (that's 15 less than one of my tiny figs!) and have no added sugars.

Snack I should have SKIPPED

Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I was cleaning the fridge and saw these and thought OOOH I THOUGHT I FINISHED ALL THAT.

What an AWFUL REASON TO HAVE A SNACK.

Anyway it is allergen-free pepperoni and sticks of marbled cheese.

Dinner = Yum and BAD FOR YOU

There were actually two pickles...

These are organic pickles, if you wanted to know. I actually ate two of them. I brought in three, and offered them around, and this guy who I don't know took one and then held it up as though we were toasting, so I didn't want to be a total goober and be like "wait, wait I need to take a picture of it first", but as you can see, I totally snapped a shot as soon as he left.

Beef and Rice and Gorgonzola

Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

The beef wasn't very good. My idea to cook it in the crock pot with it's marinade was a bad, bad idea and will not be tried again. After knowing how good those tips grill up, I will never cook them another way again! The jasmine rice was delicious, though. The gorgonzola paste I have eaten so much the thought of it is making me sick to my stomach. Thank goodness I am done with it! There was leftover beef which I will probably have for lunch, only because I have very very little food left until I can grocery shop on payday.

Afternoon Snack

Today I really tried to take the advice given to me that I should drink a lot of water when I am hungry. Well, this afternoon I downed 2/3 of a 1.5L bottle of water, and I was still starving by 3:30pm. My lunch, which I ate at about 1:00pm, was pretty big, so I don't know what my deal is.

Leftovers, again!

Pototoes and Carrots from last night, my cranberry-gorgonzola "paste" from the other night, and leftover steak from Wednesday night. It was the only meat I have that isn't frozen! I'll be dining on steak again tonight.
