Check-In

It's been awhile since I have "checked-in".

I have not totally fallen off the good habits wagon. I have not eaten a single thing I am allergic to, except some lunch meat that had maltodextrin in it. I learned my lesson about that... twice.

I think I have, however, plateaued. I am not too unhappy, because I think it just means that I have reached a balance. I have no gained. I just need to find some more changes to make in my life.

I am 267lbs. I have been 267lbs for the last two and a half months. No loss, at all. That's 66lbs down, though, which is nothing to sneeze at.

I love my new Wii Fit. I did it this morning for about 20 minutes before work, and I did a total of 45 minutes yesterday. I know that this alone is not a workout routine. Don't worry, I'm not that delusional. I do think, though, that it is going to help jump start some real working out. And, truthfully, some of the aerobic games on there really do make you pant a good bit if you do them one after another! I even had the Wii Fit tell me that it might not be a bad idea to stop and get a glass of water. That made me happy.

I just wanted to post this update, though, because I was telling a friend recently about how the Wii Fit board has a maximum weight capacity of 330lbs, and actually won't let you play if your weight exceeds that. This means that in July, when I started my journey, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy this.

So this is another thing that I can add to my list of things I can do now that I couldn't do before: enjoy the Wii Fit. This is even more exciting than the day I realized that I can pull (one of) my foot(s) up to my nose.

Okay, that's all for now.
