Dinner from the Crock Pot

Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Thanks to Mer for reminding me that I even HAVE a crockpot. I used it maybe ONCE since I bought it. I can already tell that I will be eating stuff from it a lot more often. This was just potatoes, carrots, and turkey. The turkey was a tiny bit dry but at the same time literally fell apart as I tried to pick it up. It was great. I cooked it with just water, a tiny bit of oil, and sea salt, ground pepper, chilli powder, and garlic powder.

I am DIRT POOR right now, so for the rest of the week I will be eating "creatively"... eating up what I have left in the house, no money to buy groceries. If I don't eat a lot of veggies, please forgive me!

mmmm... we had chix in ours today. I cooked it at 3 hours low, 4th hour at high and our chix was a lil dry.

That looks good, the kind of meal I would make since I'm also allergic to wheat as well as to beef and pork and possibly dairy.
