My Antonia

I have finished reading "My Antonia". It was lovely.

I have also discovered a coffee place close enough to visit on my lunch hour.

Today is a good day.

Next: Neil Gaiman's "Fragile Things", which I believe is a book of short stories.

I have a ton of books of my Amazon wish list, but no money.

In other news, my new-old crock pot almost burned our house down and will not be used again. Me? Exxagerate? Okay maybe a little, but a flame did shoot out the outlet when I pulled out the plug opposite it, and the safety switch clicked on.

Anybody even read this blog anymore?
